Attica, a Stanley Nelson film that Tom Phillips scored and which premiered on the Showtime Network in November 2021 has been nominated for the Best Documentary Feature Oscar. The film deals with the 1971 Attica Prison uprising in Attica New York with extraordinary footage shot during the 5 day ordeal along with current interviews of survivors and participants.
