Tom Phillips of OBT Music scored "Sound of the Police", a powerful new documentary from Firelight Media Co-Founder Stanley Nelson and co-director Valerie Scoon. Produced for ABC,it will stream exclusively on Hulu beginning on August 11. The film traces the country’s complex racial history that set the path for policing in Black communities and fuels the ongoing conflict between African American communities and law enforcement. It examines the relationship between African Americans and the police which is often filled with tension, fear, suspicion and hostility on all sides. Tom Martin of OBT Music contributed some composing work as well.
